Chandrashila treks are one of the most popular treks among Indian trekking enthusiasts. The trek to the peak is 5 km. The trek route that starts from Chopta which takes one to Tungnath (highest Shiva temple in the World), from here it is a kilometer long, and a steep trek. Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath at a height of around 14000 ft .This peak provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks. There are various legends associated with this place. According to one such legend, this is the place where Lord Rama meditated after defeating the demon-king Ravana.

We expect our trekkers to carry their own bag, however if someone wishes to load their trek bag on mule and carry only the day backpack, an additional charge of Rs 300 per day per bag (not weighing more than 10kgs) is applicable. Please do revert

Payment Policy

• 16 days or more from the date of departure : 50% of the tour cost to be paid.
• 15 days from the date of departure: 100% of the tour cost to be paid.
• Any flight bookings, shall be paid 100% in advance.
• Payments by credit card incur an extra handling fees (as charged by the Payment gate   ways) - 2.5% for Indian credit cards,- 4.5% for International credit cards- over the invoiced amount

Cancellation between 24 days and 15 days to the start of the Trip

Cancellation between 14 days and 10 days to the start of the Trip

• Book the same trek, in the same season, with any other batch
• Get 50% cash refund

Cancellation less than 9 days to the start of the trek

• Transfer your trek (same trek, same batch) to your friend
• No cash refund
